But this I know for sure,
Where I'm headed,
Isn’t where I was,
Because I'm not there anymore.
My feet will move me forward,
Along this walk of faith.
My eyes fixed on my Lord,
With every step I take.
And when I get discouraged,
And things aren’t going right,
I remember words that Jesus spoke,
To keep me in the light.
For as long as I am breathing,
each day here is brand new,
it's another of God's promises,
that holds out tried and true.
