Our Fathers World
The elaborate care and intricacy
With which our God has designed His whole creation.
His imagination exceeds all expectation.
The depth of His creativity can’t be measured
Even by the deepest sea.
The picture that our eyes drink in
Is only the surface
Of workings unseen.
A tiny glimpse
Into the majestic
Revealings of our Maker.
My prayer today
As we go along our way
Is to rekindle that childlike wonder
Before the weight of the world pulled us under.
May we look with fresh eyes
Amazed and surprised
At the artistic expression of our Father.
