My Place of Grace

Found this beautiful heart shaped strawberry the other day, and God brought to mind the Fruit of the Spirit. May we grow and bear this kind of fruit in our heart, because what is in our heart, is what comes out, and there is no law or quarrel against these things. Holy Spirit, come and dwell, Inside my heart, Cause LOVE  to swell. Fill with JOY, To overflow, So all the world, Your PEACE, they know. Give me PATIENCE, Toward all I meet, Responding in KINDNESS, to their needs. Let GENTLENESS be evident, In every interaction spent, GOODNESS comes by living out, These attributes of God Himself. May FAITHFULNESS grow strong and deep To reflect Gods faithfulness to me. And Lord, please teach me SELF-CONTROL, As I run the race to my heavenly goal. Amen

This was definitely a surprising sight to see on my walk yesterday! I could hardly believe my eyes! I’ve always loved dinosaurs, and this just made me smile. I am so thankful to God for His little hugs throughout the day, reminding me He’s near. What are some ways God speaks to your heart, and let’s you know He’s there? Lord, reveal Yourself anew. Keep our hearts seeking You. Thank You for this brand new day, And for Your breath of life! Help us not to waste it, Give us the mind of Christ. That we may share Your light and love With everyone we meet. To bring Your hope and truth to all. Lord, set those, captive, free. What we think, translates to how we feel. How we feel, often translates to what we do. That’s why its so important to make sure what we’re thinking...is the truth. ❤️ Lord, help me keep my mind on You today. You are the truth and light that leads my way. Guide me on the straight path. Take me by the hand Shield me from the enemy Plant my feet to stand. Be my strength, when I am weak, Be the treasure that I seek. Let all that’s not from a You, Lord, fall away. Amen

While on one of my walks, I spotted this leaf curled into the shape of a heart. In true God fashion, the words “Let go” popped into my mind. Let go of expectations. Let go of fear. Let go of hurt and pain, compounded thru the years. Let go of baggage I no longer need to carry. Let go of guilt and shame that keep me stationary. Let go of anything that stands in the way, Of my connection with God day to day. Letting go of those things I mentioned, Allows me to live with more intention. God takes the things that I’ve let go, Lifts my burden, lightens my load. In letting go, I am free, To live Gods purpose and plan for me. And that was God’s timely message to me...from this curled up, heart shaped, fallen leaf...❤️ Thank you God! Yesterday I spotted this squirrels nest in the shape of a heart ❤️ high up in the tree top! I often wonder how squirrels can feel safe and secure sleeping in a bunch of sticks and leaves so high up in the trees?? It reminded me that God equips us with the skills necessary to survive, He supplies us with everything we need, when we delight ourselves in Him, He gives to us the desires of our hearts and when we trust Him, He makes a way. He never leaves, He is always by our side. He is our security, even when our lives look to be made up of a bunch of sticks and leaves! Lord, thank You for Your faithful love and provision, help me trust You more and more deeply day by day. Amen

I work very early every Sunday morning.  Over the years, it has become one of my favorite times with God.  He often plants little seeds in my heart during this time. The past couple weeks the word praise has been coming up. Praise Him thru the storm. Praise Him thru the overwhelm, praise Him because HE is worthy, praise Him morning, noon, and night. Praise Him in the presence of the enemy. Praise Him in my helplessness. Praise Him at my worst and best and everywhere in between. Choosing to praise God at all times, even when I don’t feel like it, blesses and honors Him and changes me. Oh Lord, may Your praise ever be on my lips, because You are always and forever worthy of all my praise. Amen. My Heart Sings... My heart sings a melody, A song of praise for eternity. Thanking God for the way He speaks to my heart, thru hearts! Each day, part of my work is to feed Fred, the cat. Fred has been part of my life for the past 21 years, he started out as an outdoor kitty but has since moved inside the last couple years. He has been, and still is, a faithful companion to the woman I care for, and myself. When I saw the heart in Fred’s food, God brought to my mind the importance of faithfulness and approaching my work, whatever it is, with love and purpose. After all, isn’t that the example that He has set for us? Even feeding Fred is Holy ground❤️ “Let all that you do be done in love.” ~ 1Corinthians 16:14

Be still and know that I am God... Trust Me with your day. When all around seems frenzied... Know I will clear the way. Each week I walk the Lehigh Parkway, a beautiful place near where I live, teaming with nature and wild life. This Great Blue Heron lives there, I always look for him, and I usually always find him. He is quiet, and blends into the landscape, so his presence isn’t always obvious. This day, he was standing perfectly still by a tree. If I wasn’t always looking for him, I could have very easily missed him. God reminded me just then, that this is very much how He operates. God is always present, no matter where we are, but sometimes we fail to look. We get caught up in our busyness, or the troubles of the day. But God stands waiting for our eyes, and heart, and mind, to turn to Him. ❤️this picture reminded me of this verse from Jeremiah 31:3: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. This is such a powerful picture of Gods love, care and attention to detail as our Creator, He sits down and stroke by stroke, draws each of us with such great uniqueness. He puts a part of Himself into every person. Each of us is a masterpiece! We are all designed with His deep deep love in mind,  yet no two creations are exactly alike. Just this alone can help us to see ourselves and our fellow man with a different perspective, thru His eyes... For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Who is this that can quiet the sea and still the winds?  Calm raging storms and forgive our sins?  Creator of all, creations King, Jesus, my Lord Rules everything. He's the light of the world.  The one true vine. The bread of life. The God of all time. He's the truth and the way,  the door and the gate.  He is always there. He never forsakes. He is the great I am. The lion and the lamb. The Son of God and the Son of man.  He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Faithful and True, Cornerstone and Word.  The Alpha, the Omega,  The beginning and the end.  He is servant and master. He is Savior and Friend. Solid rock and humble teacher. Strong tower. Powerful preacher. Wonderful counselor, mighty God, Prince of peace.  He is the Messiah, Living Water. Everlasting loving Father to every son and daughter.  He is filled with grace.  A shepherd to His sheep.  He is all in all. He doesn't change.  His love endures
