Imagination…

Totally worth the dirty hands and grass stained knees,
to crawl underneath the canopy of her backyard trampoline,
pretending we are living in our very own house,
or trying to be quiet as a mouse
as we play hide and seek.
Messy hair and ballerina twirls,
play dough snakes and exploring imaginary worlds.
To spend time playing with this sweet girl is a priceless gift for me.
Crawling around the sun warmed ground,
laughter and joy at the treasures found.
But the greatest treasures are the memories made,
and the bond of love that we create
just spending time doing nothing and everything when we get together to play. ❤️
