God’s Heart for Me

 Sitting in a waiting room

A place new to me

I turned to see this heart

Plain as can be

God knows when I’m nervous

He is the God who sees

The calmer of my fears

The giver of my peace

Such a small gesture

Given in love

Lets me know He’s near

Keeping watch from above

Thankful for His presence

Keenly aware

I’m never alone

For my God is everywhere
