My Potato Heart

 

Peeling and cutting potatoes for dinner, I discovered the heart! It reminded me that my heart was a lot like an uncooked potato when I first came into God's hands. He took me as I was and started peeling away all the dirt, hard skin, and rotten parts from my heart, He cleaned me up and continues to soften me in His pot of love.

 "And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart." ~God in Ezekiel 36:26
