Let Me Introduce You To Jesus

This poem was sent to me by a dear friend, and I felt the need to pass it on.

* Life can easily feel like it's piling up on us, but God's word tells us not to fear. Psalm 27:1 says...The Lord is my light and my salvation -whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life-of whom shall I be afraid.

* We sometimes feel frustrated, anxious, and worried over things we need to face or are going through; but God's word says in Philippians 4:6,7 - Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

* There are days we feel our burdens laying heavily on our shoulders. The weight of them slowly crushing us into the ground. But guess what? Gods word has something to say about this too! in Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus says: "Come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO JESUS©
By: Gene Minix

So your day is a dark one.
The clouds are hanging low.
You are troubled inside
And you don't know where to go.
Let me introduce you
to Jesus My Savior and my Friend.
He can put a ray of sunshine
Where the darkness has been.
He'll take away your fears
And He'll give you peace within.
Yes, let me introduce you to Jesus.
He'll be your Savior and your Friend.
You've tried the world's ways
And the world has let you down.
You feel so empty deep within
And no peace have you found.
You are longing, seeking, sighing.
Your life is in despair.
Give it all to Jesus,
O, how He loves and cares.
Let me introduce you to Jesus
My Savior and my Friend.
He can put a ray of sunshine
Where the darkness has been.
